YINYUE-JUN

Dan Feng has been many times described as emotionless, merciless and detached, with cruel eyes in spite of their calmness. He is implied to have some sort of superiority complex in regards to mortals due to his nature as a Vidyadhara High Elder. He's shown to have grown up spoiled and always indulged by the Preceptors who took care of him, and he's extremely confident about his skills with cloudhymn.

Despite it all, Dan Feng is hinted to have grown close with the four other members of the High Cloud Quintet and shared several casual and peaceful moments with them. It is the only time he's seen to enjoy himself amidst drinks, laughter, and quiet companies under the moon. Though he had a distant and cold exterior, those who knew him would know he has a gentle side to him as well, and twice it is mentioned that in spite of the many things people saw him as, very few saw him as an actual person with feelings of his own. He's shown to have struggled with his dragon half as well, who wished for him to grow apathetic over his allies' deaths, while his human heart mourned for their lives.

Dan Feng has extremely long, dark brown hair with blue undertones that goes down all the way to his hips. He wears a single red tassel on his right ear, and a single bracer on his left arm. He wears plenty of layers, and the sleeves of his robes have cranes on them. His face is sharp and quite mature-looking, with sharp eyes that look equal amounts empty and stern.

🡲 Since Vidyadhara are part dragon and Dan Feng is implied to have the ability to turn into a full dragon, I picture him with sharp fangs and claws. Since he was an authentic High Elder in the same manner as Bailu is (to an extent), he most likely had a tail the same way she does. His would probably look similar to what Dan Heng's does in his idle.

🡲 He was probably over 575 years old by the time he was forced to molt if the dates of his Sedition and the last given year after the HCQ exploits are anything to go by. According to the collectable An Appeal from the Vidyadhara (II), he was in the Shackling Prison for at least one to two centuries, so around 757 years old at best by the time he "died".
🡲 I like to imagine Dan Feng struggles with a sense of "self" even more than Dan Heng does, not only because he perpetually looks like every prior Yinyue-jun they've had, but because he also performs the exact same duties. It might explain why he's so detached and emotionless; the Preceptors raised him to be another Yinyue-jun of the same magnitude and dignity as Yubie, who was so great among the Yinyue-jun reincarnations they had a statue made of them. The only time Dan Feng feels like his own person and not as another Yinyue-jun is when he's with the High-Cloud Quintet.
