( hiding from the preceptors has become a habit, nearly second nature. he understands this is his fate and duty as the luofu's high elder, that he needs to be served and watched over, and though they would never dare to look down on his powers, they are there to protect him, too. he understands all of that, but finds it suffocating time and time again. he knows above all else that he's different from his former incarnation, the yinyue-jun before him; that ultimately, dan feng misbehaves, and goes against the preceptors' words, that he gives them too much trouble.
