It might explain why he's so detached and emotionless; the Preceptors raised him to be another Yinyue-jun of the same magnitude and dignity as Yubie, who was so great among the Yinyue-jun reincarnations they had a statue made of them. The only time Dan Feng feels like his own person and not as another Yinyue-jun is when he's with the High-Cloud Quintet.
